Day 1 — Bhubaneswar to Gopalpur
Arrive at Bhubaneswar airport or railway station, where our representative meets you, and drive south along the Chilika lagoon to Gopalpur-on-Sea (about 180 km, 4 hours), an old port with a quiet beach and a lighthouse. Overnight stay in Gopalpur.

Day 2 — Gopalpur
A free beach day; climb the lighthouse in the afternoon (paid locally) and visit the old port ruins. Overnight stay in Gopalpur.

Day 3 — Taptapani hot springs
A day trip into the Eastern Ghats to Taptapani (about 50 km) for its sulphur hot springs and the forest around, with a stop at the Tara Tarini hill temple, a Shakti Peeth, on the way back. Overnight stay in Gopalpur.

Day 4 — Gopalpur to Barkul
Drive to Barkul on the Chilika lagoon and take a boat to the Kalijai island temple (paid locally). Overnight stay at Barkul.
