Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the Jagannath temple at Puri or the Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar (the Lingaraj can be seen from a viewing platform). Boat trips, safaris and entry fees are paid locally. Travel times are approximate.

Day 1 — Arrive in Bhubaneswar – Dhauli
Arrive at Bhubaneswar airport or railway station, where our representative meets you. In the afternoon, visit Dhauli for Emperor Ashoka's rock edicts and the Peace Pagoda, and the Odisha State Museum. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

Day 2 — Ratnagiri, Udayagiri and Lalitgiri
A full day to the three Buddhist sites in the Jajpur hills (about 100 km): the monasteries and great Buddha heads of Ratnagiri and its museum, the stupa and stepped well of Udayagiri, and Lalitgiri, where relic caskets were found (entry paid locally; the Ratnagiri museum is closed on Fridays). Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

Day 3 — Bhubaneswar temples
After breakfast, tour the temples of the "City of Temples": the 11th-century Lingaraj (seen from the viewing platform by non-Hindus), the Parasurameswara and Mukteswara, and the Rajarani with its graceful carved figures, then climb to the rock-cut Jain cells of Udayagiri (entry paid locally). Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

After breakfast, transfer to Bhubaneswar airport or station. The tour ends here.
