Hill roads are slow and travel times are approximate. Boat rides, safaris, cave and park entry fees are paid locally. Meghalaya is wettest from June to September, when some trails are slippery but the waterfalls are at their fullest.

Day 1 — Guwahati to Shillong
You are met at Guwahati and driven up the GS Road to Shillong, Meghalaya's capital, at about 1,500 m. The barrage lake at Umiam makes a good tea stop. At Umiam, there is time for a pedal or speed boat on the lake (paid locally). The rest of the evening is free in town. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 — Shillong
After breakfast, see Ward's Lake, the Don Bosco Museum, the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians and the Elephant Falls. Evening at a café on Laitumkhrah. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3 — Shillong to Guwahati
After breakfast and a stop at the Shillong Peak viewpoint, drive back to Guwahati (about 100 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
