Hill roads are slow and travel times are approximate. Boat rides, safaris, cave and park entry fees are paid locally. Meghalaya is wettest from June to September, when some trails are slippery but the waterfalls are at their fullest.

Day 1 — Guwahati to Shillong
You are met at Guwahati and driven up the GS Road to Shillong, Meghalaya's capital, at about 1,500 m. The barrage lake at Umiam makes a good tea stop. The rest of the evening is free in town. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 — Shillong to Cherrapunji
Today is for Sohra (Cherrapunji), long known as one of the wettest places on earth: the gorge view at Mawkdok, the falls of Nohkalikai and the Seven Sisters, a walk through Mawsmai cave, and the edge of the plateau at the Eco Park, where the Bangladesh plains spread out below (entry fees paid locally). Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 3 — Arwah cave and Wei Sawdong
A morning at the Arwah cave with its fossils, then the three-step Wei Sawdong waterfall (a steep path down) and the Dainthlen falls. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 4 — Mawlynnong and Dawki
Visit Mawlynnong, often called the cleanest village in Asia, with its sky view bamboo tower, and the living root bridge at Riwai nearby. Continue to Dawki for a boat on the Umngot river (paid locally), then drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5 — Shillong sightseeing
Spend the day in Shillong at an easy pace: a walk round Ward's Lake and the Lady Hydari Park, the museum at Don Bosco, a stop at Elephant Falls on the Upper Shillong road and, on a clear day, the panorama from Shillong Peak (entry paid locally). Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6 — Shillong to Guwahati
Leave Shillong after breakfast for the drive down to Guwahati (about 100 km), in time for your train or flight. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
