Hill roads are slow and travel times are approximate. Boat rides, safaris, cave and park entry fees are paid locally. Meghalaya is wettest from June to September, when some trails are slippery but the waterfalls are at their fullest.

Day 1 — Guwahati to Shillong
Our representative meets you at Guwahati airport or station for the climb into the Khasi Hills to Shillong (about 3 hours). Break the drive at the Umiam reservoir, ringed by pine hills. In the evening, browse the stalls of Police Bazar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 — Shillong to Cherrapunji
Head south across the plateau to Sohra, the old Cherrapunji, stopping above the Duwan Sing Syiem bridge at the Mawkdok gorge. The day takes in Nohkalikai, one of India's tallest plunge falls, the lit limestone passages of Mawsmai cave, and the Seven Sisters falls spilling off the edge towards Bangladesh. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 3 — Dawki and the Umngot river
After breakfast, drive to Dawki on the Bangladesh border for a boat on the clear water of the Umngot river (boat paid locally), then back to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4 — Shillong sightseeing
A day around the city: the seven-storey Don Bosco Museum on the peoples of the North-East, the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, the three-tier Elephant Falls and the view over the town from Shillong Peak (fees paid locally; carry ID for the peak). Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5 — Shillong to Guwahati
Leave Shillong after breakfast for the drive down to Guwahati (about 100 km), in time for your train or flight. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
