Hill roads are slow and travel times are approximate. Boat rides, safaris, cave and park entry fees are paid locally. Meghalaya is wettest from June to September, when some trails are slippery but the waterfalls are at their fullest.

Day 1 — Arrive in Guwahati – Kamakhya
Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station, where our representative meets you. In the afternoon, visit the Kamakhya temple on Nilachal hill, one of the most important Shakti Peeths (queues can be long; a paid special-entry option is sometimes available). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2 — Umananda – Shillong
After breakfast, take the ferry to the Umananda temple on its Brahmaputra island (paid locally), then drive to Shillong (about 100 km), stopping at Umiam Lake. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3 — Cherrapunji day trip
A day trip to Cherrapunji (about 55 km): the Nohkalikai falls, the Mawsmai cave and the Seven Sisters falls. Return to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4 — Shillong sightseeing
A day around the city: the seven-storey Don Bosco Museum on the peoples of the North-East, the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, the three-tier Elephant Falls and the view over the town from Shillong Peak (fees paid locally; carry ID for the peak). Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5 — Shillong to Guwahati
A last morning in the hills, then the road down from Shillong to Guwahati (about 100 km) and your onward connection. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
