Hill roads are slow and travel times are approximate. Boat rides, safaris, cave and park entry fees are paid locally. Meghalaya is wettest from June to September, when some trails are slippery but the waterfalls are at their fullest.

Day 1 — Guwahati to Shillong
Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station, where our representative meets you, and drive to Shillong (about 100 km, 3 hours), stopping at Umiam Lake on the way. Evening in Police Bazar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 — Shillong sightseeing
After breakfast, see Shillong: the Don Bosco Museum of the North-East's cultures, Ward's Lake, the Elephant Falls and the view from Shillong Peak (entry fees paid locally; the peak is in an Air Force area and needs ID). Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3 — Cherrapunji day trip
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), about 55 km, past the Mawkdok valley viewpoint. See the Nohkalikai falls, the Mawsmai cave, the Seven Sisters falls and the view over the plains of Bangladesh from the Eco Park. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4 — Shillong to Guwahati
After breakfast, drive from Shillong to Guwahati (about 100 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
