Monuments and temples set their own timings; Ajanta is closed on Mondays and Ellora on Tuesdays. Ferries, boats, entry fees and special darshan passes are paid locally. Ghat roads are slow in the monsoon.

Day 1 — Arrive in Mumbai – South Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai airport or station, where our representative meets you. In the afternoon, see the Gateway of India and the Taj hotel from the waterfront, the Gothic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Flora Fountain and the Kala Ghoda art district, then walk Marine Drive at sunset. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 2 — Elephanta Caves and the city
Take the ferry from the Gateway to Elephanta island (about an hour; ferry and entry paid locally, closed on Mondays) for the rock-cut cave temple and its giant three-headed Shiva. In the afternoon, visit the Siddhivinayak temple, the Haji Ali dargah at low tide, the Dhobi Ghat open-air laundry and the Bandra–Worli Sea Link. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 3 — Departure from Mumbai
After breakfast, there may be time for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya museum or Crawford Market before the transfer to Mumbai airport or station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
