Monuments and temples set their own timings; Ajanta is closed on Mondays and Ellora on Tuesdays. Ferries, boats, entry fees and special darshan passes are paid locally. Ghat roads are slow in the monsoon.

Day 1 — Mumbai to Ganpatipule
Our representative meets you at Mumbai airport or station for the long drive down the Konkan coast to Ganpatipule (about 330 km, 8 hours); the Konkan Railway to Ratnagiri is an alternative (ticket not included). Evening on the beach. Overnight stay in Ganpatipule.

Day 2 — Swayambhu Ganpati and Jaigad
Morning darshan at the Swayambhu Ganpati temple on the beach, where pilgrims walk round the hill behind it, and the Prachin Konkan open-air museum of village life. Afternoon at the Jaigad fort and lighthouse on the creek mouth. Overnight stay in Ganpatipule.

Day 3 — Ganpatipule to Ratnagiri
Drive along the coast via the Aare-Ware cliff road to Ratnagiri (about 25 km). See Lokmanya Tilak's birthplace, the Thibaw palace of the exiled Burmese king and the Ratnadurg fort and lighthouse; sunset at Bhatye beach. Overnight stay in Ratnagiri.

Day 4 — Konkan villages and mangoes
A slow day: an Alphonso mango orchard in season (April–May) or a cashew unit, the Pawas ashram, and Konkani fish thali for lunch (paid locally). Overnight stay in Ratnagiri.

Day 5 — Ratnagiri to Mumbai
After breakfast, drive back to Mumbai (about 330 km), or take the Konkan Railway from Ratnagiri (ticket not included), for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
