In short: Three Jyotirlingas of Maharashtra is a 5-night, 6-day tour that also covers Mumbai, Trimbakeshwar, Grishneshwar, Ellora, Bhimashankar and Pune. It starts in Mumbai and ends in Pune. It includes daily breakfast. The itinerary can be customised.
This is a suggested day-by-day plan. Timings, the order of sightseeing and hotels are confirmed with your quote.
Monuments and temples set their own timings; Ajanta is closed on Mondays and Ellora on Tuesdays. Ferries, boats, entry fees and special darshan passes are paid locally. Ghat roads are slow in the monsoon. Stays near Bhimashankar are simple; on Mondays and at Mahashivratri the queues are long.
Our representative meets you at Mumbai airport or station for the drive up the Kasara ghat to Nashik (about 170 km, 4 hours). Evening aarti at the Ramkund in Panchavati. Overnight stay in Nashik.

Early darshan at the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga below Brahmagiri, the source of the Godavari (about 28 km), then the Kalaram temple and the Sita Gufa in Nashik. Overnight stay in Nashik.

Drive to Grishneshwar (about 200 km), the smallest of the twelve Jyotirlingas, built by Ahilyabai Holkar in red stone. Visit the Ellora caves next door if it is not a Tuesday (entry paid locally). Overnight stay in Aurangabad.

A long drive south to Bhimashankar in the Sahyadri forest (about 260 km, 6–7 hours), source of the Bhima river. Evening darshan at the Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, set in a wildlife sanctuary of the giant Malabar squirrel. Overnight stay near Bhimashankar (simple stays).

After an early darshan, drive down to Pune (about 110 km). In the afternoon, visit the Dagdusheth Ganpati temple and the Shaniwar Wada. Overnight stay in Pune.
Overnight: Pune
After breakfast, darshan at the Kasba Ganpati, Pune's guardian deity, then the transfer to Pune airport or station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

Best time: October to March is the best time to visit Maharashtra; the monsoon (June to September) is best for the green Sahyadri hills.
