Day 1 — Arrive Srinagar – start of the Ladakh road trip
Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel. Srinagar, at about 1,600 m, is the starting point of the road to Ladakh; starting here lets your body adjust gradually as the road climbs over the next two days. Spend the afternoon by Dal Lake and get an early night before the long drive. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2 — Srinagar to Kargil via Zoji La
After an early breakfast, drive to Kargil (about 200 km, 7–8 hours) through Sonmarg and over the Zoji La pass, stopping at the Kargil War Memorial at Drass. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 3 — Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru
After breakfast, drive to Leh (about 220 km, 7–8 hours) over the Namik La and Fotu La passes, visiting Lamayuru monastery and the moonland on the way. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4 — Rest and Leh sightseeing
A slow morning to acclimatise, then an easy afternoon at the Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5 — Leh to Nubra via Khardung La
After breakfast, drive to Nubra valley (about 120 km, 5 hours) over the Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable roads. In Nubra, visit the Diskit monastery with its large Maitreya Buddha and the Hunder sand dunes, where double-humped Bactrian camel rides are available (paid locally). Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 6 — Nubra to Pangong lake
After breakfast, drive from Nubra to Pangong lake (about 160 km, 6 hours) along the Shyok river. The lake, about 4,250 m high, changes colour from blue to green through the day. Overnight stay at Pangong.

Day 7 — Pangong to Leh
Watch the morning light on Pangong lake, then drive back to Leh (about 160 km, 5–6 hours) over the Chang La pass, stopping at Thiksey monastery on the way if time allows. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8 — Monasteries of the Indus valley
After breakfast, visit the monasteries east of Leh: Shey palace, Thiksey monastery, often compared to the Potala Palace, and Hemis, the largest monastery in Ladakh. Evening in the Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh airport for your flight home. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
