This is a suggested day-by-day plan. Timings, the order of sightseeing and hotels are confirmed with your quote.
The first day in Leh is for rest at high altitude (3,500 m); please follow it. Permits and environment fees for protected areas are applied for as per the current rules and paid locally. Stays in remote villages are simple homestays or camps. The Pensi La road is usually open from about June to October.

Day 1 — Arrive in Leh – rest
Arrive at Leh airport, where our representative meets you, and transfer to your hotel. Rest for the day to get used to the altitude of about 3,500 m; a short evening walk in the Leh market only if you feel well. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 — Leh to Kargil
Drive west along the Indus, then via Lamayuru and over the Fotu La and Namika La to Kargil (about 220 km), stopping at the Mulbekh Maitreya rock carving. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 3 — Kargil to Rangdum
Drive up the Suru valley, with the Nun and Kun peaks rising above the road, to Rangdum (about 130 km) and its monastery on a hill in a wide valley. Overnight stay in Rangdum (simple stays).

Day 4 — Rangdum to Padum
Cross the Pensi La (about 4,400 m), with the long view of the Drang Drung glacier, into Zanskar and drive down the Stod valley to Padum (about 100 km), its capital. Overnight stay in Padum.

Day 5 — Karsha and Stongde
Visit the Karsha monastery, the largest in Zanskar, built into the cliff across the river, and the Stongde monastery on its ridge, with time in Padum's small bazaar. Overnight stay in Padum.

Day 6 — Padum to Kargil
A long drive back over the Pensi La, past the Rangdum monastery, and down the Suru valley below the Nun and Kun peaks to Kargil. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Drive back east to Leh over the Namika La and Fotu La, visiting the Lamayuru monastery and the Sangam of the Zanskar and Indus on the way. Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, the transfer to Leh airport for your flight home. The tour ends here.

- To book and confirm your tour, pay 35% of the total package cost as an advance; the balance is due before departure.
- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
