1. 1

   Day 1 — Leh Arrival

   Arrive at Leh's Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Leh is at about 3,500 m, so the rest of the day is for rest and acclimatisation, with welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. In the evening, if you feel well, visit the Shanti Stupa for sunset views over Leh, then stroll through the market. Overnight stay in Leh.

   Day 2 — Leh-Excursion to Sham Valley-Leh

   After breakfast, you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. And start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Spituk Monastery, Built in the 15th century during the reign of Grags ‘bum-lde, this new Gelug-pa monastery was built like a fortress on the summit of crags.    Day 3 — Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (120 km / 5–6 hours)

   After breakfast, drive from Leh to Nubra Valley (about 120 km, 5–6 hours) over the Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Descend into the valley of the Shyok and Nubra rivers, with sand dunes, apricot orchards and small villages. In the afternoon, visit the dunes at Hunder, where you can ride a double-humped Bactrian camel at your own cost. Overnight stay in a camp or hotel in Nubra.

   Day 4 — Nubra Valley to Leh (120 km / 4–5 hours)

   After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest in Nubra, with its large Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Then drive back to Leh (about 120 km, 4–5 hours) over Khardung La. On arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure in Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.

   Day 5 — Leh-Pangong Lake (140 km / 4 - 5 HRS )

   After an early breakfast, we leave for Pangong Lake, we drive towards Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally, you can have a sudden view of the Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "Indo China Border". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Upon arrival, we check in at our Camp Near Pangong lake. Dinner & Overnight at the Camp.

   Day 6 — Pangong Lake-Leh (140 km / 6 HRS)

   Wake early to see the colours of Pangong Lake change with the morning light. After breakfast, drive back to Leh (about 140 km, 6 hours) over the Chang La pass. On the way you can stop at Thiksey or Shey if you did not visit them earlier. Check in at your hotel in Leh and rest in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

7. 7

   Day 7 — Leh to Tso Moriri

   After an early breakfast, leave Leh for Tso Moriri (about 220 km, 7–8 hours), following the Indus river and passing the village of Chumathang, known for its hot springs. The road then climbs into the Changthang plateau, home to nomadic herders and wildlife such as wild asses and marmots. Tso Moriri is a high-altitude lake ringed by mountains, with the small village and monastery of Korzok on its shore. Overnight stay at Tso Moriri.

   Day 8 — Tsomorir-Tsokar-Tanglangla-Leh (240 km / 8 HRS)

   After breakfast, leave Tso Moriri and drive back to Leh (about 240 km, 8 hours) by a different route, past the salt lake of Tso Kar, a good spot for birds such as black-necked cranes in season, and over the Tanglang La pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the region. Descend through the Indus valley to Leh and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.

   Day 9 — Departure from Leh

   After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Depending on your flight time, you may have a little time for last-minute shopping in Leh market. Our representative then drops you at Leh airport for your onward flight; the departure transfer is included. The Discover Leh Ladakh tour ends here.
