Day 1 — Arrive Leh – acclimatisation
Arrive at Leh airport (about 3,500 m), where our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Rest for the whole day so your body can adjust to the altitude — drink plenty of water and avoid exertion. In the evening, a short walk to the Leh market if you feel well. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 — Leh sightseeing
After breakfast, Leh sightseeing along the Srinagar road: the Hall of Fame war museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the Magnetic Hill and the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Return via the Spituk monastery. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3 — Leh to Nubra via Khardung La
After breakfast, drive to Nubra valley (about 120 km, 5 hours) over the Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable roads. In Nubra, visit the Diskit monastery with its large Maitreya Buddha and the Hunder sand dunes, where double-humped Bactrian camel rides are available (paid locally). Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 4 — Nubra to Turtuk
After breakfast, drive from Hunder to Turtuk (about 80 km, 3 hours) along the Shyok river. Turtuk is a Balti village of apricot orchards and stone houses, opened to visitors in 2010; walk through the village and see its small museum. Overnight stay in Turtuk.

Day 5 — Turtuk to Nubra
Morning in Turtuk, then back along the Shyok to Diskit and Hunder for the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 6 — Nubra to Pangong lake
After breakfast, drive from Nubra to Pangong lake (about 160 km, 6 hours) along the Shyok river. The lake, about 4,250 m high, changes colour from blue to green through the day. Overnight stay at Pangong.

Day 7 — Pangong to Leh
Watch the morning light on Pangong lake, then drive back to Leh (about 160 km, 5–6 hours) over the Chang La pass, stopping at Thiksey monastery on the way if time allows. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8 — Leh to Tso Moriri
After breakfast, drive to Tso Moriri (about 220 km, 7 hours) along the Indus through Chumathang, known for its hot springs, into the Changthang plateau, home of nomadic herders. The lake lies at about 4,500 m; Korzok monastery stands on its shore. Overnight stay at Tso Moriri.

Day 9 — Tso Moriri to Leh
Early morning by the lake, then drive back to Leh by way of the Puga valley and Tso Kar salt lake where the road allows. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 10 — Monasteries of the Indus valley
After breakfast, visit the monasteries east of Leh: Shey palace, Thiksey monastery, often compared to the Potala Palace, and Hemis, the largest monastery in Ladakh. Evening in the Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 11 — Departure from Leh
After breakfast, transfer to Leh airport for your flight home. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
