Registration with Uttarakhand Tourism is compulsory for every pilgrim. The temples are open only from about April/May to October/November; the dates are announced each year.

Day 1 — Haridwar to Barkot
After breakfast, drive from Haridwar to Barkot (about 210 km, 7–8 hours) by way of Mussoorie, with a stop at Kempty Falls. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2 — Yamunotri darshan
Early in the morning, drive to Janki Chatti (about 45 km) and walk up to Yamunotri (about 6 km), or go by pony or palki (paid locally). Bathe at the hot spring, offer prayers at the Divya Shila and Surya Kund, and have darshan at the Yamunotri temple. Walk down and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3 — Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi (about 100 km, 4 hours) on the Bhagirathi. Visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple in the evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 4 — Gangotri darshan
Early in the morning, drive to Gangotri (about 100 km, 3–4 hours) through Harsil and past the hot springs at Gangnani. Bathe in the Bhagirathi, have darshan at the Gangotri temple and drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5 — Uttarkashi to Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive down to Rishikesh (about 150 km, 5–6 hours) through Chamba. In the evening, attend the Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 6 — Rishikesh to Haridwar
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar (about 25 km) for your onward journey. The yatra ends here.

- To book and confirm your tour, pay 35% of the total package cost as an advance; the balance is due before departure.
- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
