Day 1 — Kochi to Thekkady
Arrive at Kochi airport or Ernakulam station, where our representative meets you, and drive up into the Cardamom hills to Thekkady (about 165 km). Evening walk through a spice garden of cardamom, pepper and cinnamon (paid locally). Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 2 — Periyar lake
Take the forest department boat on the Periyar lake, watching for elephants, gaur and sambar on the banks (paid locally; tickets are limited), or join a guided nature walk in the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Afternoon in the Kumily spice market. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 3 — Gavi forest
Join the Kerala Forest Development Corporation trip to Gavi (about 40 km via Vandiperiyar), a forest of cardamom and evergreen jungle inside the Periyar reserve, with a jeep through the forest, a short walk and a boat on the Gavi lake (permit, jeep and boat paid locally). Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4 — Thekkady to Kochi
After breakfast, drive back down to Kochi (about 165 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
