A day on the Valiyaparamba backwaters, the quietest in Kerala, by country boat or canoe among islands and mangroves (paid locally), with the Kappil beach in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at Bekal.

Visit the Ananthapura lake temple, the only lake temple in Kerala, and the Chandragiri fort, then drive up to the grassy hills of Ranipuram (about 50 km) for the view. Overnight stay at Bekal.

After breakfast, drive back to Mangalore (about 65 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
