Gujarat is a dry state: alcohol is served only to permit holders. Temples set their own darshan timings and dress codes. Safari permits, boats, ropeways, shows and entry fees are paid locally or booked in advance. Gir National Park is closed from 16 June to 15 October; jeep safari permits are booked online in advance and are limited.

Day 1 — Rajkot to Junagadh
Arrive at Rajkot airport or station, where our representative meets you, and drive to Junagadh (about 100 km). See the Mahabat Maqbara with its silver doors and spiral minarets, and Ashoka's rock edict at the foot of Girnar. Overnight stay in Junagadh.

Day 2 — Girnar ropeway and Uparkot
Ride the Girnar ropeway up to the Ambaji temple on the mountain (paid locally); walkers can continue on the steps to the Jain temples and the Dattatreya peak. In the afternoon, explore the Uparkot fort with its Buddhist caves and the Adi Kadi stepwell. Overnight stay in Junagadh.

Day 3 — Junagadh to Sasan Gir
Drive to Sasan Gir (about 60 km). Afternoon at the Devalia safari park for lions in the fenced interpretation zone (paid locally). Overnight stay at Sasan Gir.

Day 4 — Gir jeep safari
An early jeep safari in Gir National Park for the Asiatic lion, leopard and spotted deer (permit booked in advance, paid locally). Afternoon free by the Hiran river. Overnight stay at Sasan Gir.

Day 5 — Sasan Gir to Rajkot
After breakfast, drive back to Rajkot (about 160 km), stopping at the Gondal palaces if time allows, for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
