Gujarat is a dry state: alcohol is served only to permit holders. Temples set their own darshan timings and dress codes. Safari permits, boats, ropeways, shows and entry fees are paid locally or booked in advance. Palitana is a vegetarian town. The Shatrunjaya temples close in the monsoon (about June to October).

Day 1 — Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar
Arrive at Ahmedabad airport or station, where our representative meets you, and drive to Bhavnagar (about 170 km). Visit the Takhteshwar temple on its hill and the Gaurishankar lake at sunset. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.

Day 2 — Shatrunjaya hill
Drive to Palitana (about 50 km) before dawn and climb the 3,500 or so steps of Shatrunjaya hill to more than 800 Jain temples, the holiest Jain pilgrimage in Gujarat (dolis can be hired at the foot, paid locally). Descend by early afternoon; no food is taken on the hill. Overnight stay in Palitana.

Day 3 — Palitana to Ahmedabad
After breakfast, visit the Jain museum and the temples in the town, then drive back to Ahmedabad (about 215 km). Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 4 — Departure from Ahmedabad
After breakfast, see the Hutheesing Jain temple of white marble in Ahmedabad before the transfer to the airport or station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
