Sundarbans boats and forest permits are paid locally or quoted with the booking; the stays are simple eco-lodges. Tigers are very rarely seen; the mangroves, birds and crocodiles are the reason to go.

Day 1 — Arrive in Kolkata
Arrive at Kolkata airport or station, where our representative meets you. Evening at the Victoria Memorial gardens and its sound-and-light show where running (paid locally), and a walk on Park Street. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

Day 2 — Kolkata to the Sundarbans
Drive to Godkhali jetty and take the boat to your island lodge in the Sundarbans; afternoon on the river among the mangroves. Overnight stay in the Sundarbans.

Day 3 — The mangrove creeks
A day on the water to the Sajnekhali watchtower and mangrove interpretation centre, the Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki towers, watching for crocodiles, otters and kingfishers (boat and permits paid locally or quoted). Overnight stay in the Sundarbans.

Day 4 — Back to Kolkata – Dakshineswar
Return by boat and road to Kolkata. In the afternoon, the Dakshineswar Kali temple and the ferry to Belur Math. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

Day 5 — Departure from Kolkata
After breakfast, Kumartuli's potters, the Howrah Bridge and the flower market below it before the transfer to Kolkata airport or station. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
