This is a suggested day-by-day plan. Timings, the order of sightseeing and hotels are confirmed with your quote.

A yatra registration (RFID card) is compulsory for every pilgrim; it is free at the Katra registration counters or online. The climb is about 13 km each way; ponies, palkis, the battery car and the Bhairon ropeway are paid locally, and helicopter seats are booked separately on the Shrine Board portal.

  1. Day 1 — Arrive Jammu – Katra

    Arrive at Jammu airport or railway station, where our representative meets you, and drive to Katra (about 50 km, 1.5–2 hours), the base town for Mata Vaishno Devi. Collect your yatra registration card and rest. Overnight stay in Katra.

  2. Day 2 — Mata Vaishno Devi darshan

    An early start for the climb from Katra through Banganga and Ardhkuwari to the Bhawan (about 13 km), on foot or by pony or palki (paid locally); the helicopter to Sanjhichhat is booked separately. After darshan of the Holy Cave, take the ropeway or walk up to the Bhairon temple, then return to Katra. Overnight stay in Katra.

  3. Day 3 — Katra to Chintpurni and Jwalamukhi

    After a late breakfast, drive to Chintpurni (about 170 km, 5 hours) for darshan at the Chintpurni Mata temple, then on to Jwalamukhi (about 35 km). Overnight stay at Jwalamukhi.

  4. Day 4 — Jwalamukhi and Kangra Devi

    Morning darshan at the Jwalamukhi temple, where natural flames burn from the rock, then drive to Kangra for the Brajeshwari Devi temple and Kangra Fort. Return to Jwalamukhi. Overnight stay at Jwalamukhi.

  5. Day 5 — Jwalamukhi to Amritsar

    After breakfast, drive to Amritsar (about 200 km, 5 hours). In the evening, visit the Golden Temple for the Palki Sahib ceremony. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

  6. Day 6 — Amritsar and the Attari border

    Morning at the Golden Temple, with langar, then Jallianwala Bagh and the Durgiana temple. In the afternoon, drive to the Attari–Wagah border for the Beating Retreat ceremony. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

  7. Day 7 — Departure from Amritsar

    After breakfast, transfer to Amritsar airport or railway station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

  • A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
  • Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
  • If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
  • Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
  • Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
  • Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
  • Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.

  • Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
