Protected-area permits (Nathu La, Dzongu and others) are applied for with your ID and paid as per the rules; some areas are closed to foreign nationals. Roads close at times for landslides. Local taxis, permits and entry fees are paid locally. Stays in Dzongu are simple Lepcha homestays.

Day 1 — Bagdogra to Dzongu
Arrive at Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri station, where our representative meets you, and drive up the Teesta via Singtam and Dikchu to Mangan, where the Dzongu permit is collected, and into the Lepcha reserve of Dzongu (about 170 km). Overnight stay in a Lepcha homestay.

Day 2 — Lepcha villages and Lingzya falls
Walk through the villages of the Lepcha people, Sikkim's first inhabitants, among cardamom fields, to the Lingzya waterfall and the cane bridges over the river, with a local guide (paid locally). Overnight stay in the homestay.

Day 3 — Hot springs and the Tholung road
Visit the hot springs by the river and drive up towards Tholung for the forest and the views of the Kanchenjunga massif; evening learning about Lepcha food and crafts with your hosts. Overnight stay in the homestay.

Day 4 — Dzongu to Bagdogra
After breakfast, drive back down to Bagdogra (about 170 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
