Monuments and temples set their own timings; Ajanta is closed on Mondays and Ellora on Tuesdays. Ferries, boats, entry fees and special darshan passes are paid locally. Ghat roads are slow in the monsoon. Paid darshan and aarti passes are booked through the Shirdi temple trust.

After an early Kakad Aarti for those who wish, drive to Shani Shingnapur (about 70 km), the village where houses famously have no doors, for darshan at the open-air Shani stone. Return to Shirdi to visit the Khandoba temple, the Gurusthan and the Lendi Baug. Overnight stay in Shirdi.
