Mountain roads are slow and can close for landslides in the monsoon or snow in winter. Paragliding, ropeways, local taxis and entry fees are paid locally. Stays near Parashar are simple; the road can be snowbound in winter.

Day 1 — Chandigarh to Mandi
Our representative meets you at Chandigarh airport or station for the drive to Mandi (about 200 km), the "Chhoti Kashi" of the hills on the Beas. Evening at the Bhutnath and Panchvaktra temples and the aarti on the river. Overnight stay in Mandi.

Day 2 — Parashar lake
Drive up to Parashar (about 50 km) for the high lake at about 2,700 m, with its floating island of turf and the three-storey pagoda temple of the sage Parashar, built from a single tree, it is said; walk on the ridge for the views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Overnight stay near Parashar (simple stays).

Day 3 — Rewalsar – Mandi
Drive down to Rewalsar (Tso Pema), a small lake holy to Buddhists, Hindus and Sikhs, with its giant Padmasambhava statue on the hill, and back to Mandi. Overnight stay in Mandi.

Day 4 — Mandi to Chandigarh
After breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh (about 200 km), with a stop at the Sundernagar lake, for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.

- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).

- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
