Registration with Uttarakhand Tourism is compulsory for every pilgrim. The temple is open only from about April/May to October/November; the dates are announced each year. The night at Kedarnath is in basic guest houses or camps.

Day 1 — Haridwar to Guptkashi
After an early breakfast, drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi (about 210 km, 8–9 hours) by way of Devprayag and Rudraprayag, along the Alaknanda and Mandakini. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 2 — Gaurikund to Kedarnath
Very early, drive to Sonprayag and take the local shared jeep to Gaurikund (paid locally). Walk the trail to Kedarnath (about 16 km), or go by pony, palki or doli (paid locally); helicopter seats from Phata, Sersi or Guptkashi are booked separately on the official portal. Darshan at the Kedarnath temple and evening aarti. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 3 — Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Morning darshan at the Kedarnath temple, then walk down to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar (about 210 km, 8–9 hours). The yatra ends at Haridwar.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
