In short: Buddhist Circuit: Bodh Gaya to Kushinagar is a 6-night, 7-day tour that also covers Rajgir, Nalanda, Vaishali and Gorakhpur. It starts in Gaya and ends in Gorakhpur. It includes daily breakfast. The itinerary can be customised.
This is a suggested day-by-day plan. Timings, the order of sightseeing and hotels are confirmed with your quote.
Temples and monasteries set their own timings; Bodh Gaya is busiest from December to February. Museums are closed on Mondays. Ropeways, guides and entry fees are paid locally. Lumbini in Nepal is not part of this package; we can quote it.
Arrive at Gaya airport or station, where our representative meets you. Evening at the Mahabodhi temple and the Bodhi tree, where the Buddha attained enlightenment. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.

A full day: the Mahabodhi temple and its seven sacred spots, the Great Buddha, the international monasteries and the Archaeological Museum, with the Dungeshwari caves in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.

Drive to Rajgir (about 80 km): the ropeway to the Vishwa Shanti Stupa, the Vulture's Peak and the Venuvana monastery gifted by King Bimbisara. Overnight stay in Rajgir.

The ruins and museum of Nalanda, the Buddhist university that drew scholars from across Asia, then on to Patna (about 90 km). Overnight stay in Patna.

Visit the Bihar Museum (closed Mondays) and cross the Ganga to Vaishali for the Ashokan pillar at Kolhua and the relic stupa. Overnight stay in Vaishali.

Drive north via the Kesaria stupa to Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh (about 230 km), where the Buddha attained mahaparinirvana. Evening at the Mahaparinirvana temple and its reclining Buddha. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

A morning at the Ramabhar stupa, the cremation place of the Buddha, then drive to Gorakhpur (about 55 km) for your onward flight or train. The tour ends here.
