This is a suggested day-by-day plan. Timings, the order of sightseeing and hotels are confirmed with your quote.
Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra registration and a compulsory health certificate are required for every pilgrim; the yatra runs only on the dates announced by the Shrine Board. The Baltal route is steep; ponies and palkis are paid locally. Weather can close the route at short notice.

Day 1 — Arrive in Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar airport, where our representative meets you, and transfer to your hotel. Check your yatra registration and RFID card. Evening at leisure by the Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2 — Srinagar to Sonmarg
Drive up the Sindh valley to Sonmarg (about 80 km), the nearest town to the Baltal base camp, in the yatra convoy as directed by the authorities. Rest for the climb. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 3 — Baltal – Amarnath cave – Baltal
An early start to Baltal and through the Domel gate, then the 14 km climb by the Baltal route, short but steep, on foot, by pony or palki (paid locally), to the Holy Cave for darshan of the ice lingam, and back down the same day. Return to Sonmarg late in the evening. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 4 — Sonmarg to Srinagar
A slow morning to recover, then drive back to Srinagar. Afternoon at the Shankaracharya temple, the Kheer Bhawani temple at Tulmulla on the way if time allows, and the Mughal gardens. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast, the transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- Air and train tickets need full payment.
- Mode of payment: net banking, IMPS, NEFT, cheque, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or QR code. Cash is not accepted.
- Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
- Any refund due is paid after Holiday Guru Travel receives the refund from the service providers; processing charges are deducted.
