Kumaon and Garhwal hill roads are slow and can close for landslides in the monsoon (July–August). Boats, ropeways and entry fees are paid locally.

Day 1 — Kathgodam to Almora
Arrive at Kathgodam station, where our representative meets you, and drive up via Bhowali and Kainchi Dham to Almora (about 90 km). Evening walk to the Kasar Devi temple on its ridge, where Swami Vivekananda meditated, for the sunset over the hills. Overnight stay in Almora.

Day 2 — Chitai – Jageshwar
Visit the Chitai Golu Devta temple, hung with bells and letters of petition, then drive to Jageshwar (about 35 km), a valley of deodar trees holding over a hundred stone temples of Shiva from the 7th to 12th centuries, with the Jageshwar Jyotirlinga shrine and the site museum. Overnight stay in Jageshwar.

Day 3 — Vriddh Jageshwar – Almora
Morning aarti at Jageshwar and a walk up to Vriddh Jageshwar for the view of the snow peaks, then the Dandeshwar temples on the way back to Almora; evening at the Bright End Corner viewpoint. Overnight stay in Almora.

Day 4 — Almora to Kathgodam
After breakfast, drive back down to Kathgodam (about 90 km), with a stop at the Kainchi Dham ashram, for your onward train. The tour ends here.
