Getting there and around: Tours start in Chennai, Madurai or Trichy, with pick-up from the airport or railway station and transfers and sightseeing as specified on each package.
Where you stay: Standard / 3-star equivalent hotels with breakfast as listed on each package.
- Dress modestly; at some temples men are asked to remove shirts, and cameras are not allowed inside many sanctums.
- Temples close in the afternoon; plan darshan for the morning or evening.
- Carry light cotton clothes and a hat; it is hot most of the year.
