Day 1 — Madurai to Palani
Arrive at Madurai airport or station, where our representative meets you, and drive to Palani (about 120 km). In the afternoon, take the winch or ropeway, or climb the steps, to the hill temple of Dhandayuthapani, one of the six abodes of Murugan (winch or ropeway paid locally). Overnight stay in Palani.

Day 2 — Palani to Kodaikanal
Drive up the old Palani ghat road to Kodaikanal (about 65 km), the "princess of hill stations". Evening walk on the Coaker's Walk above the clouds and round the star-shaped lake. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 3 — Kodaikanal
Visit the Pillar Rocks, the Guna caves (seen from the fenced viewpoint), the pine forest, the Moir Point and the Bryant Park, and the Kurinji Andavar temple, named after the flower that blooms once in twelve years. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 4 — Kodaikanal to Madurai
After breakfast, drive down via the Silver Cascade falls to Madurai (about 120 km), with time for the Meenakshi temple if your departure allows. The tour ends here.
