Day 1 — Arrival Srinagar

Arrive at Srinagar airport, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake. After checking in, the afternoon is free. Take a shikara ride on Dal Lake to see the floating gardens, lakeside markets and houseboats, with the Zabarwan hills behind. In the evening, enjoy the quiet of the lake from your houseboat's veranda. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 2 — Srinagar – Local sightseeing 50 km

Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to houseboat for hot lunch(extra). In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice . You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake . Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 3 — Srinagar to Gulmarg (Day Trip) 112 km

Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg In the evening return to Houseboat. Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 4 — Srinagar to Sonmarg Tour (Day Trip) 196 km

Full day excursion to Sonmarg Tour which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh . In the evening return to Houseboat. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5 — Srinagar to Pahalgam day trip (186 km)

After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to Pahalgam (about 2,440 m), about 93 km each way. On the way, see the saffron fields at Pampore, the Avantipur temple ruins and the sulphur spring at Anantnag. Pahalgam, in the Lidder valley, is famous for its pine forests and river and as a film location. Enjoy the valley, then return to your houseboat in Srinagar for the overnight stay.

Day 6 — Srinagar to Katra 268 km

Leave early in the morning for the drive from Srinagar to Katra (about 268 km, 6–7 hours) through the Banihal pass and the Jawahar tunnel area. Katra is the base town for the Mata Vaishno Devi yatra in the Trikuta hills. After checking in at your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure; register for the yatra if needed. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 7 — Mata Vaishno Devi darshan

After breakfast, begin the 13 km trek from Katra to the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. You can walk, or hire a pony or palki from the shrine board; a helicopter service to Sanjhichhat is also available, at your own cost. After darshan, trek back down to Katra in the evening, sharing the journey with fellow pilgrims. "Jai Mata Di". Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 8 — Katra to Jammu Drop (40 km - 1.5 Hrs)

The morning is at leisure; you can visit the Katra market for prasad and dry fruits. Then check out of your hotel and drive to Jammu (about 50 km, 1½ hours). Our driver drops you at Jammu airport or railway station in time for your onward journey. The tour ends here, with memories of Kashmir and the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi.
