This is a suggested day-by-day plan. Timings, the order of sightseeing and hotels are confirmed with your quote.
Protected-area permits (Nathu La, Dzongu and others) are applied for with your ID and paid as per the rules; some areas are closed to foreign nationals. Roads close at times for landslides. Local taxis, permits and entry fees are paid locally. Nathu La is open to Indian nationals only, usually on Wednesdays to Sundays, and closes in bad weather.

Day 1 — Bagdogra to Gangtok
Arrive at Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri station, where our representative meets you, and drive along the Teesta to Gangtok (about 125 km, 4 hours). Evening on the car-free MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 — Tsomgo lake and Nathu La
With the permit (applied for with your ID), drive up to the Tsomgo lake at about 3,750 m, then to Nathu La on the India–China border at about 4,300 m and the Baba Harbhajan Singh memorial temple (permit and shared vehicle paid locally; Nathu La is open only on some days and for Indian nationals). Return to Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3 — Gangtok monasteries
Visit the Rumtek monastery across the valley, the Enchey monastery, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and the Do Drul Chorten, with the ropeway over the town (paid locally). Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 4 — Gangtok to Bagdogra
After breakfast, drive back down to Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
- Extra adult 35% and extra child 25% of the package cost (children below 5 complimentary).
- If a listed hotel is unavailable, accommodation is arranged in a hotel of similar standard.
- Transport is provided as per the itinerary and is not at disposal; sightseeing depends on the time available.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before departure: non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
- Between 29 and 20 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 25% of the holiday cost.
- Between 19 and 14 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 50% of the holiday cost.
- Between 13 and 8 days before departure: non-refundable deposit + 75% of the holiday cost.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
