Day 1 — Agra to Bharatpur via Fatehpur Sikri
Arrive at Agra airport or station, where our representative meets you, and drive to Fatehpur Sikri (about 40 km), Akbar's abandoned capital, then on to Bharatpur (about 20 km). In the late afternoon, enter Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, by cycle rickshaw with a naturalist guide (paid locally). Overnight stay in Bharatpur.

Day 2 — Keoladeo and Deeg
A dawn walk or ride through the wetlands for painted storks, sarus cranes, pelicans and, in winter, ducks and geese from Central Asia (rickshaw or bicycle and guide paid locally). In the afternoon, the Deeg water palace with its gardens and fountains (about 35 km) and the Lohagarh fort of Bharatpur. Overnight stay in Bharatpur.

Day 3 — Bharatpur to Agra
An early birding hour, then drive back to Agra (about 55 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
