Day 1 — Coimbatore to Ooty
Arrive at Coimbatore airport or railway station and drive up to Ooty (about 85 km, 3 hours) through Mettupalayam. Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 2 — Ooty sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Government Botanical Garden, the rose garden and Doddabetta peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris. In the evening, take a boat on Ooty Lake (paid locally). Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 3 — Coonoor day trip
After breakfast, take the toy train to Coonoor if tickets are available (paid locally), or drive there, for Sim's Park and Dolphin's Nose. Return to Ooty in the evening. Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 4 — Ooty to Kodaikanal
After an early breakfast, drive to Kodaikanal (about 250 km, 7–8 hours) by way of Coimbatore and Palani. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 5 — Kodaikanal sightseeing
After breakfast, walk along Coaker's Walk, visit Bryant Park, the Pillar Rocks and the Silver Cascade falls, and take a boat or cycle round Kodai Lake (paid locally). Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 6 — Kodaikanal to Madurai
After breakfast, drive to Madurai (about 120 km, 3.5 hours) and visit the Meenakshi Amman temple before your onward journey. The tour ends in Madurai.
