Hill roads are slow and the ghats can be wet from June to September. Safaris, boats, toy-train tickets and entry fees are paid locally and are subject to availability.

Day 1 — Coimbatore to Coonoor
Arrive at Coimbatore airport or station, where our representative meets you, and drive via Mettupalayam up the ghat to Coonoor (about 75 km). Evening walk in the Sim's Park, a hillside garden of rare trees. Overnight stay in Coonoor.

Day 2 — Lamb's Rock, Dolphin's Nose and the toy train
Visit the Lamb's Rock and Dolphin's Nose viewpoints over the plains and the Catherine falls, walk through a tea estate, and ride the Nilgiri Mountain Railway between Coonoor and Ooty if seats are available (paid locally). Overnight stay in Coonoor.

Day 3 — Coonoor to Kotagiri
Drive to Kotagiri (about 20 km), the oldest of the Nilgiri hill stations, for the Kodanad viewpoint over the Moyar valley, the Rangaswamy pillar and the Longwood Shola forest. Overnight stay in Kotagiri.

Day 4 — Kotagiri to Coimbatore
After breakfast, drive down the Kotagiri ghat via the Kunjappanai forest to Coimbatore (about 65 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

- A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.
