After a morning at the Jain temples of the Eastern Group, drive to Orchha (about 175 km, 4 hours), the old Bundela capital on the Betwa river. Evening aarti at the Ram Raja temple, the only temple where Rama is worshipped as a king. Overnight stay in Orchha.

A day in Orchha: the Jahangir Mahal and Raj Mahal with their painted ceilings, the tall Chaturbhuj temple and the row of royal chhatris (cenotaphs) on the Betwa, best at sunset (entry paid locally). Overnight stay in Orchha.

After breakfast, drive to Jhansi (about 18 km) and, if time allows, see the Jhansi fort of Rani Lakshmibai before your train or onward journey. The tour ends here.
