Forts, palaces and temples set their own timings; Jain temples admit visitors only at set hours. Camel rides, jeep safaris, boats, shows and entry fees are paid locally.
Arrive at Udaipur airport or station, where our representative meets you, and drive through the Aravalli hills to Ranakpur (about 95 km). Visit the 15th-century Chaumukha Jain temple, with its 1,444 carved marble pillars, none alike (visitors from noon), and the Sun temple nearby. Overnight stay at Ranakpur.

Drive to Mount Abu (about 160 km), Rajasthan's only hill station. In the afternoon, the Dilwara Jain temples, with marble carving so fine it seems translucent (photography not allowed), and sunset at the Nakki lake. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Drive up to Guru Shikhar, the highest point of the Aravallis, then Achalgarh fort and the Achaleshwar Mahadev temple, and an evening at the Sunset Point. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

After breakfast, drive back to Udaipur (about 165 km) for your onward journey. The tour ends here.

Best time: October to March is the best time to visit Rajasthan; summer (April–June) is very hot, especially in the Thar desert.
