After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort with homes, shops and Jain temples inside its golden walls, and the carved Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli. In the afternoon, drive to the Sam sand dunes (about 40 km) for sunset; camel rides and jeep safaris are available (paid locally). Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

After breakfast, visit the royal cenotaphs at Bada Bagh, the Jain temples of Lodurva, the old capital, and the abandoned village of Kuldhara, then transfer to the station or airport. The tour ends here.

Best time: October to March is the best time to visit Rajasthan; summer (April–June) is very hot, especially in the Thar desert.
