A full day: Hawa Mahal in the soft morning light, Jantar Mantar and the City Palace, then Amber Fort on its hill and the Jal Mahal floating in Man Sagar lake; in the late afternoon, the craft workshops for blue pottery and gem cutting. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Drive to Ajmer for the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and the Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, then over the Nag Pahar hill to Pushkar. At dusk, join the aarti on the ghats of the sacred lake. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Visit the Brahma temple, one of very few in India, and take the ropeway up to the Savitri temple for the view (paid locally), then drive to Jodhpur. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Explore Mehrangarh Fort and its museum of palanquins and miniatures, the marble Jaswant Thada, and the Mandore gardens of the Marwar rulers; evening among the spice and textile shops at the Clock Tower. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Take the northern road via Osian, with its 8th-century Sachiya Mata and Jain temples, to Jaisalmer. Watch the fort glow gold at sunset from Vyas Chhatri. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Walk through the living fort and its Jain temples, the Patwon Ki and Nathmal Ki havelis, then drive out to the ruined Khaba fort and the Sam dunes for sunset (camel or jeep rides paid locally). Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

A morning at Gadisar lake and the Desert Culture Centre museum, then drive back to Jodhpur. Evening at the Umaid Bhawan Palace museum or the Toorji ka Jhalra stepwell. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Drive via the Aravalli hills to Ranakpur, whose Jain temple has 1,444 carved marble pillars, no two alike, and continue to Udaipur, the city of lakes. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

See the City Palace, the Jagdish temple and the cenotaphs of the Mewar rulers at Ahar, then Fateh Sagar lake and the Saheliyon Ki Bari; at sunset, a boat on Lake Pichola past Jag Mandir (paid locally). Overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, time for the Bagore Ki Haveli museum or the old city lanes before the transfer to Udaipur airport or station. The tour ends here.

This applies to all 10 nights of the tour. Hotel names are confirmed with your booking. If a listed hotel is unavailable, a hotel of similar standard is arranged.
Breakfast, as per the package plan: breakfast at your hotel in Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur each morning after an overnight stay, so 10 breakfasts (Day 2 to Day 11). Other meals are included only where specifically stated; lunch and dinner are otherwise at your own cost.
To book and confirm your tour, pay 35% of the total package cost as an advance; the balance is due before departure. A booking voucher is issued once payment is received.

Best time: October to March is the best time to visit Rajasthan; summer (April–June) is very hot, especially in the Thar desert.
Tours start in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur or Bikaner, with pick-up from the airport or railway station and transfers and sightseeing as specified on each package. Distances between the cities are long (about 250–340 km), so travel days are mostly on the road.
