Visit the Manjarabad fort, a star-shaped fort built by Tipu Sultan, and drive into the Bisle ghat for the view over three ranges of the Western Ghats from the Bisle viewpoint (forest entry paid locally). In the afternoon, the Betta Byraveshwara temple on its hill. Overnight stay in Sakleshpur.

After a cup of estate coffee and a walk to the Hemavati, drive back to Bangalore (about 220 km), with a stop at the Shettihalli church ruins when the reservoir is low, for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
