Our driver meets you in Delhi for the drive to Shimla (about 380 km, 9 hours), the summer capital of British India. The road climbs from the plains through Chandigarh and the Shivalik hills. After checking in at your hotel in Shimla, the rest of the day is free; in the evening, take a walk on the Mall Road and the Ridge. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Today breakfast proceed for in and around sightseeing of SHIMLA, visit KUFRI, India's one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - “THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Also visit Jakhoo Temple and Hanuman Temple. Shimla's landmarks - the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church (built in 1850's) and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. After breakfast, check out and drive from Shimla to Manali (about 280 km, 9–10 hours) through the Kullu valley. On the way, see Sundernagar lake, the Pandoh dam on the Beas river and the Vaishno Devi temple near Kullu. The road follows the Beas through gorges and orchards. On arrival in Manali, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Manali.

After breakfast local sightseeing of Manali “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway . “CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.” Tibetan Monastery, Mall Road, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot Sulphur springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama. Also visit Marhi, Rahalla Falls, Nehru Kund (Cold Water Spring-Named by Late PM Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru). Return back to hotel. Today enjoy excursion to Rohtang Pass also called Snow point- enjoy the beauty of year round snow caped mountains.Tourists can enjoy Snow Scooter, Ski Ride, mountain biking. Famous tourist spot Rohtang Pass is closed during Jan to April month due to heavy glaciers all around and so tourist activities can be spotted in Solang Valley during that period. Overnight Manali. Note :Rohtang Pass will be closed on Tuesday. ( Rohtang Pass Sightseeing is not included from 15th May 2015 onwards. It will be chargeable extra payable directly by the guest)

Travel by surface to Mc Leodganj (Dharamsala), magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening half day city tour visiting Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Overnight at hotel. Distance between Manali to Dharamshala is 240 Kms / 7 Hours by road

After breakfast, check out and drive from Dharamshala to Dalhousie (about 130 km, 4 hours). Dalhousie is a hill station spread over five hills, with colonial-era churches and views of the Dhauladhar range. After checking in, the rest of the day is free to walk along the Mall, see Gandhi Chowk and St. John's Church, and enjoy the small town. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

After breakfast, drive to Khajjiar (about 24 km), a wide green meadow ringed by deodar forests, with a small lake and the Khajji Nag temple. It is often called the "mini Switzerland of India". Enjoy the mountain views from Lakkar Mandi on the way. Optional activities such as pony rides are paid locally. Return to Dalhousie in the evening for the overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive from Dalhousie to Katra (about 260 km, 8 hours), the base town for the Mata Vaishno Devi yatra in the Trikuta hills. After checking in at your hotel, register for the yatra slip if needed and rest for the climb the next day. The evening is free to see the busy Katra market. Overnight stay in Katra.

After breakfast, begin the 13 km trek from Katra to the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. You can walk, or hire a pony or palki from the shrine board; a helicopter service to Sanjhichhat is also available, at your own cost. After darshan, trek back down to Katra in the evening, sharing the journey with fellow pilgrims. "Jai Mata Di". Overnight stay in Katra.

After breakfast, check out and drive from Katra to Amritsar (about 260 km, 5–6 hours). On arrival, go directly to the Wagah border to watch the Beating Retreat ceremony between India and Pakistan. Then check in at your hotel and, in the evening, visit the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of the Sikhs, beautifully lit at night. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

After breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh near the Golden Temple, then drive to Chandigarh (about 230 km, 5 hours). In the evening, visit the Rock Garden, created by Nek Chand from recycled materials, and Sukhna Lake, a popular place for an evening walk. Chandigarh, planned by Le Corbusier, is known for its green avenues. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Chandigarh and drive back to Delhi (about 250 km, 4–5 hours). Our driver drops you at the railway station or airport in Delhi for your onward journey. The tour ends here, with memories of the hills of Himachal, the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi and the Golden Temple.
