Delhi

The Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi; Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar and India Gate in New Delhi.

Things to consider

Getting there and around: Tours start in Delhi, with pick-up from the airport or railway station and transfers and sightseeing as specified on each package. Delhi–Agra is about 230 km (4 hours), Agra–Jaipur about 240 km (5 hours) and Jaipur–Delhi about 280 km (5–6 hours).

Where you stay: Standard / 3-star equivalent hotels with breakfast as listed on each package; deluxe and heritage hotels can be quoted on request.

  • The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays; the Red Fort, Akshardham and the Lotus Temple are closed on Mondays.
  • Carry ID for monument entry; foreign nationals pay higher entry fees.
  • Start sightseeing early in summer and carry water.
