Arrive at Bangkok airport, where our representative meets you, and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, take a walk through the lights of Sukhumvit or a market such as Asiatique by the river. Overnight stay in Bangkok.

After breakfast, visit the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho with its 46-metre reclining Buddha, and cross the Chao Phraya by ferry to Wat Arun (temple entry paid locally; covered shoulders and knees). Overnight stay in Bangkok.

After breakfast, drive to Ayutthaya (about 80 km), the old royal capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Buddha head in the tree roots at Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Chaiwatthanaram by the river. Return to Bangkok in the evening. Overnight stay in Bangkok.

Early in the morning, visit the Damnoen Saduak floating market (about 100 km; boat paid locally) if your flight time allows, then transfer to the airport. The tour ends here.
